- ½ cup whole milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9-inch round cake pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy (about 3-5 minutes).
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Fold in the orange zest.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cardamom, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk, and fold gently until just combined.
- Gently fold in the chopped pistachios before pouring the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
