Description
Soft and chewy peanut butter cookies topped with a chocolate kiss.
Ingredients

- 1 cup (200g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup (200g) creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1 cup (200g) packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons (10ml) vanilla extract
- 3 cups (360g) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon (5g) baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon (2g) salt
- 48 milk chocolate kisses, unwrapped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the peanut butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Shape dough into 1-inch balls and place 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
- Immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie while still warm.
- Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
