Description

Delicious strawberry-flavored Rice Krispies treats with colorful sprinkles.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup freeze-dried strawberries, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon strawberry extract
  • ½ cup colorful sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.
  2. Add mini marshmallows, stirring until completely smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and mix in the strawberry extract and crushed freeze-dried strawberries.
  4. Gently fold in the Rice Krispies until evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.
  5. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and pour the mixture into the pan, pressing down firmly.
  6. If using sprinkles, add them while still warm so they adhere well.
  7. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
