A delicious no-boil lasagna recipe that is easy to prepare and perfect for family dinners.

- 9 noodles no-boil lasagna
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 15 ounces fresh ricotta cheese
- 3 cups shredded whole milk mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 24 ounces marinara sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, brown ground beef with diced onion and minced garlic over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in marinara sauce and herbs; simmer while preparing other ingredients.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, beaten egg, half of the Parmesan, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- In a baking dish, layer meat sauce, noodles, ricotta mixture, mozzarella cheese, and repeat until all ingredients are used.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until bubbly.
- Let cool for 15 minutes before slicing to serve.
Notes
- For added flavor, feel free to add additional herbs or vegetables to the meat sauce.
- This lasagna can be made ahead of time and refrigerated before baking.
