Description

Deliciously soft and chocolatey mini muffins, perfect for a sweet treat!


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin tin.
  2. Melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan over low heat. Stir in granulated and brown sugars until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla extract and eggs until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined—avoid overmixing. Optionally, fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Fill muffin tin cups about three-quarters full with batter and bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft.
  7. Allow to cool briefly before enjoying.
