Description

A simple recipe to make candy sugar using pure cane sugar or white granulated sugar.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup pure cane sugar or white granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon water

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, add the sugar.
  2. Pour in the water and mix vigorously until the water is evenly distributed throughout the sugar.
  3. It should feel similar to damp sand.
  4. Transfer the sugar to the candy molds and press the granules down until very packed.
  5. Air-dry, ideally overnight or at least 6 hours.
  6. Pop them out of the molds and transfer to an airtight container.

  • Ensure the sugar is packed tightly in the molds for best results.
  • Store in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
