Description

A delicious and fresh guacamole recipe made with ripe avocados and zesty lime.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, minced
  • 1 small tomato, diced (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Cut avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop into a bowl.
  2. Mash the avocados to your preferred consistency.
  3. Stir in the red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, and tomato if using.
  4. Add lime juice and mix well.
  5. Season with salt to taste.
  6. Serve immediately or cover tightly and refrigerate.

  • This guacamole is best served fresh.
  • If storing, press plastic wrap directly onto the surface to minimize browning.
