Description

This garlic bread is deliciously buttery and perfectly crispy, making it an ideal side for pasta or as an appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French or Italian bread
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan or mozzarella (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Slice the loaf in half lengthwise or into thick slices, depending on your preference.
  4. Spread the garlic butter mixture generously across the surface of the bread.
  5. Place bread on a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden around the edges.
  7. For extra crispiness, broil for an additional 1–2 minutes (watch carefully).
  8. Let it cool for a minute before slicing and serving warm.
