Description

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken:
    • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
    • Drizzle with olive oil and rub to coat evenly.
  2. Grill the Chicken:
    • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
    • Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and juices run clear. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
    • Remove from grill and let rest.
  3. Make the Creamy Sauce:
    • In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
    • Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
    • Stir in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
    • Add the heavy cream, Dijon mustard, thyme, and oregano. Stir well.
    • Cook for another 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.
  4. Combine and Serve:
    • Slice the grilled chicken breasts and arrange them on a plate.
    • Pour the creamy sauce over the chicken.
    • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.

  • If you prefer a spicier flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
  • To ensure even cooking of the chicken, pound the breasts to an even thickness before grilling.
