Description

A delicious homemade pizza topped with garlic, mozzarella, and fresh basil.


Ingredients

  • 1 ball pizza dough
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone inside if using.
  2. Roll out the dough on a floured surface.
  3. Heat olive oil in a small pan and sauté the minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
  4. Transfer the dough to a parchment-lined sheet or pizza peel. Brush crust with olive oil, spread garlic evenly, then top with mozzarella and Parmesan.
  5. Bake the pizza for 10-12 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
  6. Remove from the oven and top with fresh basil. Add crushed red pepper flakes if desired. Let it rest 2 minutes before slicing and serving.
